On Monday April 15 the band released their first album in 5 years. The band split up in 2008 because they wanted to concentrate on other projects, but now they're back! 'Save Rock And Roll' is Fall Out Boy's fifth studio album in 10 years and hardcore fans should  be grateful because the band didn't turn over a completely different leaf. The band released new pop-rock material but you can still recognize the original fun Fall Out Boy sound. They also proved they evolved professionally during their years of absence, especially on the song 'Save Rock And Roll' where they managed to include Elton John and Courtney Love. The band did have bad luck on their release date, since it was the same date as the Boston explosion. On April 9 Paramore released their self-titled album 'Paramore'. It's the band's fourth studio album and their first since their guitarist Josh Farro and drummer Zac Farro left the band in 2010. Yesterday, a week after the album release the band announced their album hit #1 in the charts, which makes 'Paramore' their first #1 album. This may please or displease a lot of people, since the band has been accused of losing their alternative rock sound. It's true the band's current sound is different from their past albums but don't say you didn't see it coming.
