A Big Year for Kanye | Entertainment and Sports Celebrities

We've all got a place in our heart for, yes, even Kanye. Wait, Let me finish- "Im'a explain" This has been a big year for Kanye West.  He dropped a new album, had a child with Kim Kardashian and now is recently engaged.  The guy seems unstoppable.  There aren't many people in  Entertainment or Sports Celebrities that get this kind of publicity, He's had a few crazy outrageous moments, of course, and is now touring for his Yeezus album.  This Saturday he'll be performing with Kendrick Lamar at Madison Square Garden.  Sunday he'll be performing with A Tribe Called Quest. He seems to always be doing things his way regardless of what others are going to say about him.  He started to come out wearing the confederate flag and told Ryan Seacrest on his morning show that he was taking back the symbol.  Although it is a risky move, he is commended on his boldness.  Who knows how it will go over in the long run, and if people will even take to t...

Sawists Needed at 7th Annual NYC Musical Saw Festival to Break Guinness World Record

The NYC Musical Saw Festival has been approved by the Guinness Book of Records, and will try to break a current word record for the "Largest Musical Saw Enemble" . The currently record comes from Poland and stands at 27 musical saw players playing together. Sawists are welcome to come and be a part of the record breaking attempt on July 18th, at the annual NYC Musical Saw Festival. The Guinness World Record attempt will begin at 2PM at Trinity Church located at the corner of 37th Street and 31st Avenue in Astoria, Queens. Take the A Train to Baghdad

New York musician Alvin Atkinson and the "Sound Merchants" played in the gardens of Baghdad's Rasheed Hotel under a bright hot sun. They played Duke Ellington's "Take the 'A' train" in Baghdad's "Green Zone" today, nearly 50 years after the jazz legend himself played in the Iraqi capital.

High School Choir Kills at Carnegie

High School Choir Kills at New York City's, Carnegie Music Hall . The performance by the Gilroy High School Chamber Singers' was said to move grown men to tears and a rousing standing O. The High School choir had worked incredibly hard to get to New York's famed Carnegie Music Hall . The adults in the audience weren't the only ones moved to tears. A few of the High School singers confessed it was very emotional for them as well.
