 New York Philharmonic gets New Music DirectorThe next Music Director of the New York Philharmonic, Alan Gilbert is returning to New York for 2 weeks of programs with the orchestra. Alan Gilbert will be taking over as Music Director in September of 2009. The last time Alan Gilbert conducted with the New York Philharmonic was in November 2008 at Carnegie Hall.
